I'm looking for a new location to dive.
I'd like to ideally travel direct from SFO or have a short layover no more than 10 hours total travel time each way. 2 days of travel and 5 days of SCUBA.
We love West End in Roatan and Cozumel. We liked Isla Mujeres. Maui, La Paz and Cabo Pulmo were ok.
I'd like to try something in the Pacific where we can rent a small cabana or stay in a B&B type place with access to a kitchen. $100 a day or less.
I'd like something where I can walk to the dive shop, a few restaurants, a market and a bar. We are not the resort type people. We'd like to interact with locals, expats and like minded folks.
I'd like diving to be around $75usd for a 2 tank boat dive. I want small dive groups. We are AOW.
I could spend like 4k total.
