I tried to get a size XLT ice vest through my LDS in east texas and after being lied to that he had called on it several times they finally told me the distributor said "they don't have any in stock and haven't for a long time so there is nothing I can do." Does this sound possible for an item that is on your current line of goods? I've missed a month of diving due to this and since I was lied to before I wanted to see if this sounded legitimate. It doesn't to me but I've heard weirder things. I really like my waterproof gear and don't want to order any other brand of vest as I can see the difference in quality and warmth!
 
Call Waterproof direct.... Lady that answers the phone will be happy to check stock for you.

if your local retailer will not get it for you, I'm sure someone will.
