It was a perfect day...

I couldn't make it to Monterey this weekend so I just came back from diving Folsom Lake, California. The viz was about 3 feet, whater temp. was 48, a fisherman almost hooked one of us and the most interesting thing we saw was a funny shapped rock. Despite all of this, I had a perfect day. Any day I go diving is a perfect day, and that's why I decided to post on SB for the first time; to meet other people who are as crazy about diving as I am. Safe, fun and relaxed people who are only truly happy when breathing through a reg, I know you're out there!

Hello and welcome! I'm surprised though.... does the water really get that cold in CA??
I was diving yesterday and the vis was a good 25' and a temp of 37. But then, there was still ice on the lake too, just to help keep things cool. What can I say.... I live in Michigan. Anyway, glad to meet you.
