How do I tune this goofy regulator? The valve in it looks like something that came out of an air chisel hammer.

SS a friend of mine has one of those. He asked if I could service it for him. After looking it over for quite some time, I just brought it back to him and hunched my shoulders like a teenager. If you can figure out how to get inside that puppy and tune it, please let me know.
I used to sell these a long time ago so I should know more about them, but I'm afraid I fail that part of the test.
