Just an update for those considering Rainbow Reef. Bill, the head instructor, PMed me with some information and gave me his email in case I had any questions and to make my planning go smoothly.

Sorry Debbie... I didn't get the message, and just came across this thread today.

Rainbow Reef is a fine dive operator, but if you're looking for personalized attention, you'll have to hire an instructor/guide, or dive with a smaller outfit. Feel free to PM or email me for specifics.

Debbie, you might also want to contact Garden Cove Divers as they have a large 6pk boat. With smaller charters, they provide more personalized service for your small group and they can put a DM in the water with you. Just ask. Here is Captain Larry's contact info.

I dove with Rainbow Reef and did some training there a couple of years ago. I really liked Capt Tom who has now moved next door to Horizon Divers (short dock walk from the Ramada). All of the folks at Horizon are super.
