My son and I will be in Kona Dec 18 - Jan 1 and plan on diving a fair amount, both boat (with Kona Honu Divers) and shore.
However, non-diving friends of ours will also be on the trip and I suspect my son may want a little less dive time with dad and more pool time with his friend (as was the case last year).
If you're going to be in Kona around this time and are looking for a buddy and/or just simply want to join us, PM me and we'll try and line something up.
I have 200+ warm and cold water dives and am a DM candidate (if I get off my duff, I may have it done before the trip!) and my son has about 150+ of the same. We have dived in and around Kona for a few years, but are always looking for new spots and new adventures.
And if you're Kama'aina and want to show me some "special" spots, post-dive beers and pu-pus are on me!
