Or try Canandaigua Lake, about 30 to 40 minutes from Rochester. They have several dive shore accesses and some by a boat.
See map here: http://www.piscesdivers.com/ You need to go to the menu and click advanced search, type "Canandaigua Lake".
Where I usually dive is near Deep Run - there are 2 wrecks (more than 40 feet deep) and below thermoline.

I'd be interested in learning where those wrecks are!!
Is it a shore dive from Deep Run Park?

Thanks, Rick

Yes, Rick, it's a shore dive from Deep Run Park.

the wrecks can be easily find if you follow along the pipeline in the water (if you can find it!) :eyebrow:

Well if you want to get in touch with some local divers I have a small group that goes all over the Rochester Area of NY and the 1000 Islands. You would be more than welcome to join us on a dive when you are in the area. I am working on a website right now of sites that we dive. you can contact me if you would like at tattooeddiver@gmail.com. Talk to ya later.
Matt
