That sounds really cool too. I'm only about 35-45 min from Hopatcong. I posted a while ago asking about Bud Lake and a few people said it's pretty nasty in there, so I just assumed Lake Hopatcong wouldn't be a good site either, since it's pretty close.
I'm getting the season pass for Dutch again and finally got my AOW, so I can do the boats this season. But going out on the boats all the time gets expensive, and Dutch gets old, when you do it every single week.
So...
The goal this year is to dive as many different places as possible. I'll try out any new lakes or shore spots. Actually we're going to try to plan 3 BIG dives to kick off the season. Dutch, an LI shore dive, and an NJ shore dive.
