Hey, I'm heading to Curacao on the 7th (first time!) with my non-diving girlfriend. I'd planned 4 days of diving (Dive Bus) over the week--but it's starting to look like she's either going to have to cancel or reduce the days she's there.

She wanted to stay in a nice resort, so I booked at Avila, but my personal needs are much less. If she either cancels or reduces the days she's there, I'd be happy relocating into a cheaper option. I don't need a pool, I'd like to be close to Dive Bus or other operators, it would be great to have an onsite or close bar/restaurant. I do need AC and relative cleanliness but otherwise I'm just looking for a place to sleep in between dive days. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Corral Estates. Studio condos on the water. Dive shop right there. 3 restaurants within a 2 minute walk.
Very nice shore dives right out front.

Ah yeah, both of those options look great. Prices are excellent, about 1/2 what I'd pay if I stayed at Avila.

One thing with Coral Estates, its quite far from Dive Bus. Theres a dive op there, but not sure it would be an easy place to pick up a dive buddy if you need one. (No idea how current shop feels about solo diving.)

West End is great, but it's not near the dive bus. Lot's of great diving and West End diving out there.
