The Similan Islands in Thailand should have great visibility at that time of year, if you stay away from the full moon then the currents should be fine. Most liveaboards will pick you up directly from the airport if you plan your flights correctly. Even if you are unfortunate to catch strong currents there (for you, some of us like the current, greater chance of big stuff 
), they're manageable and the dives will generally be with the current.
