LED 700 Can vs LUX

DR discontinued the LED700. Is there anything wrong with those? What was different from the new LUX?

The only difference in the lumens (700 vs 1000). Nothing wrong with the 700 at all.

If I get the 700 LED and want the higher lumens is it just a matter of changing out the light head? Would that be a factory option?

You can upgrade an LED 700 to an LED 1000 at a later point. It is less expensive to purchase a LED 1000 up front, however. The entire light module has to be replaced, which is the most expensive part of the light.
