I just tried this mr-16 bulb in my light head. It's pretty bright for a 5 watt bulb, but not as bright as my halogen 35 watt. Has anyone had any better luck with LED bulbs?

Piraeus II MR-16 LED Light Bulb (5-Watt) : Value : LED Light Bulbs

That looks like a horrible bulb for diving! Too many emitters, probably too much flood. Try SSCP7 or Cree MCE based 10-12W LEDs, much hotter spot, really bright! Plenty of reflector choices for MR16 form factor.
