9. Jack Chalker's "Well World" series.

10. And how could I have left out Sherri Tepper's trilogy: Grass, Raising the Stonesand Sideshow?

I could go on . . .

Walter needs to weight in on this, too.

Arthur C. Clarke - anything ever written by him. Particularly the Robot series

HOw could I forget, Brin's Uplift series.

Books, let's do moving images in another thread.

justleesa:
Books only or movies and TV series too?

Well. if TV is included, you'd have to add the wonderful, wacky Dr. Who series. But Thalassamania has to answer that question- it's his thread, after all!

TSandM:
And how could I have left out Sherri Tepper's trilogy: Grass, Raising the Stonesand Sideshow?

There's a trilogy??? Grass was fantastic & I always check for Tepper's books when I go to the bookstore but I never knew that. <sigh> so many books, so little time...

Thalassamania:
HOw could I forget, Brin's Uplift series.

'Cause there are so many really good scifi/fantasy series out there...

I'm more of a mystery/crime/spooky person myself..but I did/do enjoy

The Harry Potter books

The Tolkein Books

If I think hard I might come up with more...
