Since I think you have one of the few Sony Digital8 camcorders made without a control L/Lanc port you're limited to mechanical housings only.

Five that would work:

Yellow Jacket: http://www.yellowjackethousings.com/ - inexpensive "tube" housing, a seal and go type.

Aquatix: http://www.aquatix.com/aquacam.htm - with their mechanical control upgrade you'll be able to start/stop the camera underwater.

Atmoseal: http://www.atmoseal-eng.com/aquavaul.htm - like Aquatix with their universal pause control you can stop/start camera underwater.

Ikelite: http://www.ikelite.com/web_pages/sony_trv460.html - custom housing by a quality manufacturer - your camera fits their model# 6038.14

Equinox: http://www.underwatervideohousings.com/housings_specs.shtml - although it's not listed, your camera will probably fit in their Pro-Pak6 housing - if they have a controls package for it.

Most of these mfr's sell direct, also try:

B&H PhotoVideo - www.bhphotovideo.com for Ikelite
or
Adorama - www.adorama.com for Equinox.

It's a little confusing because this listing shows it as not discontinued, yet the listing for your camera doesn't have the -8 (Digital8) designation for your camera.

Best bet might be to PM Ike here, he's the owner of Ikelite.

B&H has one listed. For $679 - but they don't list your camera model in the listing. So you might ask Ikelite if it's a one housing fits all. Didn't I read somewhere that your camcorder has mechanical buttons on top vs. the touchscreen on some of the other models, that might be the difference.

If this refers to the Equinox Pro-Pak6, it fits just about any recent Sony camcorder made. You just need to check that they have the mechanical control setup for your particular camera's controls. I'd guess they do since your camera has the same body as a TRV128, which is a really popular model.

rgds,

rgr , Will call them when they open. i really like the LKelite but its pretty pricey for a 300 dollar camera. But if the controls mate up I will order it for sure. this is my birthday present from me to me :D
