Looking for a pool near UCLA

I'm new here, so go easy on me...

anyways, I'm looking for a pool around the UCLA/los angeles area to practice some open water dive skills since I just got some new equipment. i've already asked the campus and they don't allow scuba stuff in the recreation pools... does anyone know of any good pools around the area? thanks in advance!

There is Santa Monica City College, the Westside Y, etc., but you will probably run into the same problem you had at UCLA. I suggest you contact Scuba Haus on Wilshire Blvd in Santa Monica and find out what pool they use. They've been around for years. You'll probably have to take a refresher course from them to get access to the pool.

There is a public pool in Westwood. You might want to call them and ask.

If you still need a pool on Sept 7th, you can use my OW pool for an hour while my students eat lunch.
