July-Sept.; depth = 0-300+; visibility = 20-40+ ft. depending upon rainfall; cleanest clearest lake east of the Mississippi River acording to "Skin Diver Magazine". Sarge's Dive Shop is located "on" the lake. Full-Service ERDI/SDI/NAUI dive shop. Air, classes, rental, sales & service, charter service for divers, swimmiers, snorkelers, and lake tours. Season: Memorial Day through Labor Day (Open 7 days/week from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.). Five minutes from campground, motels, restaurants, shopping, and hospital.
