You guys hit right on the head as far as which shops I am talking about.

Both seemed very good to relate to although I did not speak to an instructor at the Seaquatics facility. I did speak to a young guy named Brandon in the midland store regarding the class and he took his time and showed me around the shop and answered a ton of questions. I was pretty impressed with his attitude.

I am not the best swimmer, so we are thinking of buying our personnel gear and spending a little time in a pool first. Is this a smart thing to do?

Tom, there is everything right about sampling some really EXCELLENT micro-brewed beer and I would be more than happy to talk with you regarding a future boat purchase. My wife and I currently own a 31’ Pursuit express which is very multitask orientated.

Thanks again guys …… places like this board are a very valuable resource, we are thankful to be a part of it.

Hey Skipper!

Okay, Brian corrected me on the Nitrox and Computer issues.

There may be a swimming test involved in your course, but swimming with fins and/or a neoprene wetsuit certainly makes it all easier. Beyond those, let the instructor get you ready, but then - it sounds like you're alread in with a good shop.

Have fun! :jump013: don
