Looks like we might be in for another storm. I just hope that this one goes out into the middle on the Atlantic ocean and causes no harm to anyone.

wonderful :(

I just hope it doesn't hit here next weekend while I'm out of town, and the wife & kids are home... Ugh!!

It'd better leave our REEF Fish ID class alone.. think of the irony if it wollops across Largo and into the Gulf and into P-Gorda area again.. I'm going to look for an upper atmosephere winds map with the H & L marked out.. that'll help in knowing the track its headed. I called Charley's track all the way, maybe I can go 2 for 2 :)

edit note: I looked at the winds maps.. my thoughts are its staying south, possibly through the FL straghts area and into the Gulf and up to LA/AL area right now.

Weather.com has the H and L's marked out. There is a high currently off approx SC/NC coast and a low off the NE Fl coast, does that help?? I am wondering even though it is aimed straight at us, whether it will do one of the curves, with either an easterly or westerly shear and just miss us - getting either Cuba again or Bermuda. The 5 days seems to show it heading towards the southern Bahamas and east end of Cuba, would have to take quite a swing to take it across FL - but of course who knows?

It would be kind of funny for everyone to put money together to help pay for Colin for the REEF ID course after the hurricane, to have that course hit on by another hurricane - maybe Colin will start getting the jinx luck that Jenny used to be graced with????

Dang! I knew this calm wasn't going to last long....hopefully the ridge of low pressure will dip down and steer it north!

I just need to find the one with the highs and lows charted out now.. I can kinda guess by the winds, but its nice to see the piccy to :D

found: http://www.nws.noaa.gov/outlook_tab.php

nothing to hold the hurricane to any real course except the winds.. Frances can go anywhere she wishes.
Colin, if that low on the day 6 chart dips down there, we just may be spared.
