I haven't even started to explore Indonesian Borneo yet. Absolutely in love with the island and believe it to be the single best place on Earth. I can just keep coming back!
Not a easy place to travel in Kalimantan. Too many jungles(keep them there) and all the developments are along the various rivers.

hopefully the new capital will kick start more development in Kalimantan!

Does anyone know anything about Lahad Datu? They have a blue hole and wreck(s). Only 2 hours from Semporna.

Kalimantan does not need development to ruin it.

For anyone interested in visiting Sabah, take note:
Reopening of Malaysia’s borders: Sabah awaits more detailed SOP, says state minister | Malay Mail
“Whatever it is Sabah wants to ensure every international visitor to the state is fully vaccinated with the booster dose,” said Masidi who is also Sabah Covid-19 spokesman when contacted by Bernama tonight.
Both Sabah and Sarawak have their own rules?
The entry stamp to KL said "permitted to enter and remain in West Malaysia and Sabah for 90 days". So when I went to Sarawak afterward my passport was stamped again.

I haven't even started to explore Indonesian Borneo yet.
I’ve been in Maratua, Kakaban, Sangalaki, staying in Nabucco island resort. My next visit there will be on White Manta Liveaboard in August 2022. Check this video out:
