Hi. My wife and I had to cancel our plans for a dive trip to the Maldives from March 14th - March 21st 2010 (8 days / 7 nights). We've already put down deposits of $800 each for reservations. We're looking for 2 people to contact our dive shop and discuss transferring our reservations to you and working out the reimbursements. Total price per person is $2,495.00 not including airfare.

Here's the original info from Mark Cunningham, instructor, at Scuba Network in NYC:

"Come join me as I return to the Maldives' spectacular unspoiled atolls, considered one of the last frontiers among world class dive destinations.

The all-new Maldives Vessel (completed March 09) is a 115-ft. all-steel yacht and can comfortably accommodate up to 20 passengers and 10 crewmembers. Each room has it's own private bath and shower. Very nice, very comfortable with all the amenities. The 7-day charter will depart the capital Male and travel through the various atolls spoiling you as each dive site tops the previous one.

The Maldives features 3 distinctly different types of wall, reef and pinnacle diving; inside the atolls, outside the atolls and inside the channels or passes with large schools of Anthias, White Snapper, Trevally Jacks, Barracuda, Batfish, and Sharks. Mantas and Whale Sharks are commonly seen year-round in the crystal clear waters with temperatures ranging between 78 and 84 degrees. Beautiful soft and hard corals decorate the unspoiled reefs in a breathtaking plethora of colors The word Maldives translates to "Realm of Thousand Islands" with only 200 inhabited islands our charter affords us the opportunity to dive new unexplored areas.
This is world class diving at its best!

The Trip includes:
Live aboard Accommodations
All Meals, Snacks & Beverages
5 Days of Diving / 4 Dives per day
Night Diving
Tank & Weights
Instructor Escort
Service Charges/Boat Taxes
Airport/Boat Transfers
The trip is $2,945.00 (airfare not included.)

Call me at the store (212) 243-2988 (Tues - Sat.), ask for Mark."
