Dear Divers,

The Life Aquatic with Lacadives is an offshoot of Lacadives, the pioneer of SCUBA diving in India for the last 16 years. We have 3 dive centers in the Andaman and Lakshadweep islands – hidden treasures in the Indian subcontinent. The Life Aquatic promotes dive travel, inland training and marine conservation. We encourage a sense of responsibility, a need for conservation and protection of the marine resources. We choose eco-friendly partners who are doing their bit to ensure a sustainable way of living and diving.

We want you to experience one of Planet Earths biggest secrets and have the trip of a lifetime. Seeing a Manta Ray is an angelic moment, diving with hundreds of Mantas and Whale Sharks life changing. Our dive trip aboard the luxury MV Atoll Cruiser to the protected Bay of Hanifaru (Baa Atoll Maldives) in the month of august (14 to 21) gives you the opportunity to discover the magic and mesmerizing feeding pattern of these creatures, and dive with them for a whole week.

A certain percentage of the proceeds from our trip go towards a WhaleShark Research Project along the Gujarat Coast in India. Hundreds of whale sharks congregate in this area but little is known about it. Only recently has this species found legal protection from the slaughtering that used to happen here in large numbers. With the BP oil spill threatening our fragile ecosystem and putting our oceans in danger, as well as changing the course of the movements of the whale sharks in the Gulf of Mexico, the time to act is now. Sign up for our liveaboard.

Happy diving,
Life Aquatic with Lacadives
