We were there a month ago and saw mantas on 6 or 7 different sites all over the park. Both Manta Alley and Makassar had multiple mantas but the water was much warmer and vis much better at Makassar. Manta Alley was cold (68' to 71') and vis was no better than 30', less most of the time. Makassar was warm and had good vis but did have a fairly stiff current which had the mantas hanging still in the current as we tried to stay in one place.
