We are going to meet at 7:00pm @ Casa Denis in the town square. This place has been around since 1945 so all the cab drivers and local know where it is. Our guide indicated this was his best non tourist recommendation for food in the square. The telephone number is 987-872-0067

Hello Everyone!!

We are looking to book a trip March 19th - 26th . We have been to Cozumel by cruise ship but never spent more than a day. Staying at Suites Bahia its one of the options with our package. My other option is Hotel Cozumel. Does anyone have some feed back on either hotel? Also checking to see who will be there the same times? We have not booked are diving yet, but lean more toward small boats. Anybody mind 2 more dive buddy's?

Hi robd, you will get a lot of replies to your post. Suites Bahia is right downtown on the waterfront, breakfast is served a block south at Casa Mexicana, and is quite good. Hotel Cozumel is a walk south of town, not too far. If you want to spend time in town after diving, Bahia may be what you want. If you want a larger Hotel, with a nice big pool, Hotel Cozumel is a good choice. The food is soso at Hotel Cozumel.
Dive operators are everywhere. Everyone on this board has their favorites, and Im sure most are very good. We will be there the 17th thru the 27, diving with Blue Magic Scuba, we really enjoy them. We are staying at the Plaza Hotel Cozumel, maybe we will run into you!
