I have a Mares Dragonfly Airtrim and my girlfriend owns a Cressi S111.
Does anyone knows where I may find the serial number on these BCs? I saw a thread saying that mares would have it in one of the buckles but I could not find it....
I´ll be travelling outside Brazil soon and in order to declare it in customs I need a S/N.

I have also a Mares Dragonfly, the BC does not have a stamped SN , however you should have a Card ( like a credit card ) that comes with the BC and there is the BC SN in it.

I never had much trouble with Brazilian customs coming in. After just a few dives it is quite easy to see what is new and what is used. If you only have one and it looks used then it's obviously for personal use and not for resale.

Also you can make it look more personal. Paint your initials with aluminium paint on the shoulder straps and other equipment.

Even so you should register dive computers, laptops & (digital or not) cameras on the way out.
