I just inherited one of these first stage regs. I'm guessing it's a discontinued model. Anyone know anything about it? Is it any good, assuming condition is OK?

If you mean the MR12ST it's Mares' entry level balanced diaphragm.

    Features:
    - Balanced diaphragm
    - DFC (Dynamic Flow control)
    - Tri-material valve
    - Chrome, nickel plated brass, and stainless steel.

    Max flow: 4,800 L/min

    Ports:
    2 × 7/16” UNF HP
    1 × 3/8” UNF LP DFC
    3 × 3/8” UNF LP

    Weight:
    574 g (DIN version)
    674 g (INT version)

Service interval is 1 year if Tri-material valve is used. Can be upgraded with the new ACT valve for a 2-year service interval.
