Has anyone been to Martin Creek Lake near Tatum Texas? The lake is used to cool the power plant and I have been camping there many times but never been diving there. The water is usually warmer there because of the power plant. I was told that someone had put in a platform in somewhere in the lake and that you really needed a boat to access the good parts of the lake. I have access to a boat and I am considering trying it out. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Well I called Martin Creek SP and they said the water
level is still low and all of the boat ramps are closed.
She did say the water temperature is around 70 degrees
and that they do allow divers in the lake and that now
is a good time to dive since there is no boats on the lake.
Im not sure if it's possible to find a good place to dive
off of the shore. I may go over this week sometime and
scope it out. I'll keep you posted.

I havent dived in the lake but we have a lot of business operations around there and have driven around the lake before.
