MDX vs. RDX Zoom Rings

If I use a lens on an MDX housing, can I use it on an RDX housing (provided I find a compatible port of course) with the same Zoom Ring, or we have different Zoom Rings for RDX and MDX?

Hi Mariozi-
The gears are lens specific so, for instance the 12-24 Nikkor will use gear #31107 for both the MDX and RDX housings. The NX series ports for the MDX also can be used on RDX with use with of the RDX Port Base L adapter ring #30109. Check out the latest system charts HERE
