ahhhh.... that would be SIR class. S'moring It Right. Do all our S'more specialists plan to attend?

My April weekends are pretty open so far. Easter is on April 16th so I'll put in my 2 cents and say weekend should be thrown out of our potential list. Even if some think it would be a good date, I'm sure attendance would be low.

I'll bring my big ole cauldron and tri-pod. If everyone can help and keep the fire going during the day, I'll heat up some nice warm soup. Won't wait for the buffet but have it ready if (LOL - IF?) the air and water temperatures warrant it.

Paula

I agree, so it appears that its beginning to look like the weekend of the 21st or the weekend of the 28th? Wife has granted permission! Just need to get the some time of work.

There are several web sites for BS and half of them don't work. My computer crashed earlier this year and so I don't have one that did work. Will have to try Explorer and see if the site I have work.

I am going to Florida/ Bahamas April 14-23. So those 2 weekends wouldn't work for me. Rest of the month is wide open as of yet.
Can't wait to see you guys again. Wally, hope you can make it, you will definatly know some people there.
Dean- Blue Springs is about a max depth of 60 feet, lots of goodies sunk in it (more than at Haigh).
While, I love Blue Springs, and it is much closer for me, I think Gilboa is a better site for the M&G due to its set up, and camping facilities with in feet of the docks as opposed up the hill.

Anybody doing any local diving between then and now? I am definatly going through withdrawl having not dove since Thanksgiving weekend (I didn't know I was physically capable of going over a month without a dive).

I googled Blue Springs and found this site that works for me:

http://www.bluespringsscubadiving.net/

They also provide a link to Mapquest for directions to it from where you are. Looking at a map, it near Shelbyville Indiana, SE of Indianapolis.

Never have dove there, so it does have that advantage, but it is further for me than Gilboa. For folks from Cleveland, or Michigan, it'll be quite a bit further than Gilboa.

We went there a last spring ok but diving not a lot to see. For most in the glwc it will be a drive to get there. Gilboa is 2 hours north of me on 75 blue springs is 2 hours south west of me. My vote is for gilboa or white star.

Max dept is about 55'-60'. The best thing under water was a armored car that was pretty cool.

My vote is for Gilboa one of the last two weekends.

Given Polly's agenda there, and since most everybody else said either of the 2, I'll go ahead and throw out a specific recommendation.

How about weekend of 28 April at Gilboa?
