Beaches were wiped out, coral covered in silt, and visibility 5 feet. Well at least I got some bottom time and a day at the beach.

I was out there as well with some friends. It was a little disappointing. It was so flat and calm, I thought everything would have settled on the bottom. The rock's pretty colors were completely covered still. The storm did uncovered dead sanddollars, so I'm a hero to my daughter.

Do any of you guys dive during the week? I work every other weekend, and have some days during the week free.
dirtymexican, I could dive on Tuesdays, but I'll need some advance notice. After july, I can do Thursday's also, bradsagator, I'm up for anything that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, I have a buddy that wants to go scalloping, but I haven't done it and don't know if he can this weekend, but I'm going to try to arrange it, If your interested, I'll let you know if it works out.
Me and phenom went to Hudson Grotto on Saturday, It was pretty cool, I've only ever been diving in salt-water, or spring fed lakes, so that tannic won-ton soup stuff was interesting, I'd like to do it again with some flashlights though.

I'm trying to arrange a trip to crystal river for scalloping for Saturday, 7/14/2012, I've never done it and never been to crystal river, but a friend of mine that has says it's pretty good, and he's the one leading the expedition. I don't think there will be much in the way of scuba diving, but I'm going to bring my gear just in case I find something worth looking at, or manage to stop at a set of springs along the way. If you can, and want to go, let me know.
