I'll be in the upper peninsula of Michigan in July. I was wondering if there was any diving opportunities near Lower Taquamenon State Falls Park. Can anyone give me their opinions on this?

Thanks!

Hi Livin' life.

Whitefish is close and is some of the best diving in the Great Lakes. In fact, whenever we dive Whitefish we spend part of the day walking around Tahquamenon Falls and checking out the microbrewery at the Falls.

Also, check out the Great Lakes Wrecking Crew forum to hook up with local divers. Lots of SCUBABOARD'ers in Southeastern Michigan.

to go over to Munising. Great wrecks and a nice dive boat or two. It's protected in Munising Bay, the wrecks have buoys and I enjoy it a lot!

Howdy!

Welcome to SB!!

You are going to be so glad you found this board. I have been diving for 15 years, yet have learned so much in the short time I have been on SB.

Welcome to SB!
