Depends on what you are wanting them to do?

Your Sunnto computer will track depth, no decopression time remaining, acsent rate, and has a digital compass. If you have a Mission 3 console it has an analog pressure gauge, depth gauge and compass. You can use your depth gauge as a back up to your computer and everything will work well together.

If you have a Mission Puck 3, the 2 computers won't be able to comunicate with each other. They both use a RBGM algorithm with a deep stop, so they both should be on the "same page" while you are diving so you could use one as a redundant back up computer and all will work well together.

Many thanks Ontwreckdiver for your detailed response. Yes I do have a Mission-3, and I more-or-less purchased it - as you say - as a backup to my Suunto D6 dive computer.
