KRABI: Police are waiting for the relatives of an American professor who died on Friday while diving near Koh Pida Nok to retrieve and repatriate his body to the United States.

You never know how well a news story conveys facts, but one quote said while diving.

Unfortunately, the third link said “I will not go into the specifics of what happened," but still - understandable.
