I think of the astronomy class I taught in the early 1970's. Many of the "facts" we "taught" (forced our students to memorize) would need revision!
No joke here! Just the last few years, all these new discoveries just in our own solar system.
-bright red and blue rings around Uranus
-10th "planet" bigger than Pluto (barely)
-Titan's methane mush surface
-yet MORE jovian and saturnian satellites
-water ice on Mars

I'm sure the new Venus and upcoming Mercury probes will find new stuff too. We'll have to wait a while for the Pluto Express to reach ITS destination. And that big asteroid probe's gonna take some SWEET pictures.
