MOD Edit Please

Can a MOD please edit my post? Some pics were moved from one address to another and now the link in my post needs to reflect the new location. It's the last hyperlink in the post.

I'm just curious. What is the reason we can't edit our own posts after 24 hours?

In the past there have been heated debates(flame wars) started by a poster who would then go back and edit their original post and make themselves look innocent. So 24 hrs. is enough to correct mistakes to your post, but then what you've posted stays for the record.
