Unbelievable that the County Chief Exec actually made a statement. But Donny D. never fails to make a statement about anything. Amazing headline.

What is most amazing is the fact that a "Shark bite" was treated with "band-aid and antibacterial cream" and all was OK afterwards.

Is a puncture wound from a small shark any worse than from a dog or cat? At least sharks don't lick their butts.

But they do eat other animals butts...

Think about that for a minute :)

Just a flesh wound.

True, but small cat and dog bites are successfully treated with antiseptic cream and a band aid all the time. Why would a small shark bite be any worse? It's not like she lost a fingertip.

The "I was attacked and bit by a shark" is sooo much more dramatic. They will be known as "shark attack survivor," a story to be told to the neighborhood kids and the grandchildren :)
