I have no pics, only a vague description. I saw a couple fish in 10-20 ft on sandy bottom in Curacao--very moth-like with wide pec fins. The fins would be closed or opened to glide along the bottom. Any ideas? Color was brownish. It's not a flying fish or scorpionfish or Hawaiian mothfish. I've never seen anything like it in the Caribbean. A juvenile was about 8" long and a larger version was about 12 inches with a wingspan also of 12". Thanks!

Did it look like this?

That's it! I was snorkeling off beach of Avila hotel just south of Willemstad. There was some great shore/wall diving in Cuacao; did some boat dives too.
