I dive a MR-12 with an Axis second stage and an Axis octo, and love it!

I recently added a cold water kit because I knew I was going to be doing quite a bit of cold water diving in local quarreys, and wanted the extra peace of mind). My last dive was for my AOW training and on our deep dive, at 87 feet - 39 degree F, it performed very well.

I recently got a CWD kit installed on my Proton. It costed about $65 at the LDS. The kit also seals your first stage and this is the main reason I got it. It must be installed by a tech, it's not something that you want to mess with, unless you know what you're doing.

I have dove with with Axis a few times and it holds up with Apeks and Zeagle at a much lower price. Overall, it's a solid value.
