Did I hear/read somewhere recently that Playa Azul isn't allowing divers (or maybe anyone not staying at the hotel) at the breakfast anymore? Have you done this in the recent past?

We were there in March. No problem. Not to spread rumors but I think the Playa Azul house dive shop had an issue with all of the other dive shops boats showing up in their front yard, Literally. We have been going there for a decade or more that I can remember. Mateo Gutierrez ran that shop at Playa Azul before he went to work for Aldora...
The Buffet is nice and recommend it to all, whoever you dive with.
