Safari boat ‘Soleil’ ran aground on the reef of B. Dhigufaru, causing damage to the boat.

The defence force said they received report of the accident at around 5:00 am on Wednesday.

A military squad has been dispatched to assist the vessel.

The defence force said they are using pumps to remove water from the boat, while a diving team tries to find the damaged part of the underside.

No one was hurt in the accident, and the eight tourists on board have been taken to Royal Island Resort.
