Picked these up last fall and finally have them done.
1969 U.S Divers twin 53's never rehydroed.
Had them tumbled w/ tempered glass to remove the lining.
Stripped the original paint.
Had them hydroed.
Cold galvinized and painted.
New decals.
Reassembled w/ new one piece manifold and tank boots(for protection not diving).
Final cost w/ tanks about $260.

2th Dvr,

Are those 1800 psi tanks? If so, I just bought a used pair of these too. Mine are in for a hydro right now, and are an orange color. I would be interested in the process you did to cold galvanize them--could you tell us more? Yours look great.

They are 1800 psi
I used ZRC cold galvinizing.
I found several threads that suggested it.
