Need help...Certification

Can anyone help me out with this question?
I am about to start a course which is ACUC registered and would like to know if anyone has ever heard of someone having recognition trouble with this certification.
ie.. dive shops not renting to anyone with this certification.

Though not many places around the world offer ACUC certification, you shouldn't have any major trouble with it.
