Need help editing a picture

Looking for help in editing a non-UW photo taken just before getting onto our dive boat in Grand Turk. It is a picture of the ship we were sailing on and it is a beautiful picture, but I need help in editing out 2 people standing in the middle of it using Photoshop - don't know it can be done, but is someone there proficient in photo shop that may be able to help?
