Need Help with Triggering Ikelite Strobe Sensor on Casio

I bought a little Casio Exhilim (sp) camera with the Casio case and tried my Ikelite strobe on it last year and had problems with it firing. The flash lies flat on the inside of the case so there is no room to place a sticker to reflect the camera flash to the sensor. Does anyone have any suggestions on triggering the strobe? Also I have the sensitivity on high, and everything works above water and above water. Thanks for the help
