This is going to be a very popular dive. Ship length of 180ft so LOTS to explore. The deck is at 60ft so even an OW diver can enjoy it. Sand 110'. And then the below creme de la creme for thousands of instagram photos that will be taken on her as proven previously in Largo. It's mounted on the top deck ready for your selfie !! {pict credit Alex Fogg}

Yep,,,They were surplus research vessels that were used for a lot of oil and gas exploration in the Gulf of Mexico. There is a 'Sister' vessel to her that will be sunk later called the Dolphin that is being cleaned now and will be sunk also here....

Wow... Florida.

Those distances are insane to me.

how long will it take to be covered with life, corals, fish, crustaceans?

Judging by the nearby Mighty "O",, 2 weeks til the first shark & Goliath find it, 8 weeks till peach fuzz on the unpainted bare steel, and 3 yrs for the 1'st sponges. Then it's up to mother nature with storms, hurricanes, runoff, & most importantly currents to bring in nutrients.

But if you want to see something really cool,, Here's a 40 second video of her 1st dive. It's an Oh-sheet wall of water dive!! { Turn your sound up before you click play }
