A little help please. The Mrs. wants a new camera to replace her reefmaster mini. Can anyone comment on the versatility of the Lumix DMCTS3A with an Ikelite housing? Waterproof to 30' without the housing, replacing her little ole cannon for the regular stuff. With the Ikelite housing good for depth, replacing the mini.

One of the other options is the SeaLife DC1400 but not so versatile on the surface. The Lumix/housing option has 1080 compared to 720 for the sealife.

Anyone use the mentioned Lumix/housing setup mentioned?

Any opinions would be helpful!

Graham

The Lumix/Ike option is better than the DC1400. You just get a better Dryland pocket camera for walking around when not diving. Of course all things are based on budget and there are other options out there depending on what you are looking to do underwater.
