New Diver - Hello!

Hi there,

My name is Mark and I'm a new diver from Michigan. Just started PADI training, classroom and pool dives complete and looking forward to open water dives next week.

Appreciate all the good posts on ScubaBoard - thanks to all who help the new divers along.

I'm also looking forward to diving the Caribbean. Any recommended resorts/locations for a newbie?

Just had my first Caribbean dive with Bottom Time Scuba in Roatan.
These guys gave my son and I first class service - and even helped me improve my skills along the way.

Welcome to Scubaboard & diving! I really liked Cozumel which is where I did my AOW. If you want to improve your skills, a trip there which isn't that expensive & the hiring of your own private instructor to focus on you is one of the best ways to do it.
