New member question - spearfishing

I am new to diving
i would like to know where i can dive for spear fishing just with mask and spear gun , no heavy equipt.

First of all I think you'd want to add fins to the mask and spear gun, not mandatory but certainly nice; as far as locations there are many places in the planet you can spearfish, each place usually has regulations about what gear to use and what and when certain fish are allowed to spear.
Could you narrow down the question to at least a country? .... preferably a state?
