A newbie mistake for a newbie. It was one of my final checkout dives and I packed 2 dive boots however they were both left foot boots of different sized. One was large (my GF) and the other XL (mine). Thankfully the fins fit perfectly over my croc sandals and I could do my dive wearing crocs...............

I took my own tanks on a 2 tank charter boat recently. The pair of tanks has left and right manifold valves. First dive was fine. On the second dive, the deck crew decided to "help" me by closing the left handed tank valve right before I was going to jump in.
