Newbie Saying Hello

Good Day All,

I am brand new to diving and would like to say hello to SoCal. If anyone knows of some good sites to schedule dive dates, it would much appreciated. I am sticking around Orange County for the time being. It's close to home and I would like to get some more experience. I have placed a couple of possibilities on OCfundive, but would like to cover more area. I'm free on weekends and most Fridays. Actually looking to dive Laguna this Friday if anyone is interested. The Great Escape out of long beach has a Catalina trip for Saturday 26th. 3 dives, free air fills, and lots of great food for a very good price.

Welcome Frank,
For boat diving the Sundiver Express runs on Wednesday, Friday and of course all weekend out of Alamitos Bay (where Seal Beach and Long Beach meet). Good prices and great service.

Lots of good diving there in Laguna Beach. Saturday mornings at 0800 Sharp South Coast Divers Home Page leaves out of the shopping center (NW Corner I think) to diving somewhere in Laguna Beach

I do primarily boat diving, so I pretty much hit the various boats that go out to Catalina Island (San Pedro, Long Beach, Los Alamitos) or the Northern Channel Islands up in the Oxnard/Ventura area.

Just list date of when you want to go diving and chances are one of us would be able to accompany you.
