I just wanted to say Hi to everyone. I am finally taking the plunge into learning how to dive. Growing up I remember wanting to dive from like 5 years old. Now I am 23 and waiting for the Deep Blue Dive intructor to call me back regarding private classes.

I can't wait. I am so happy I found this board to help me along the way.

Thats great that your getting into diving!
Ive been diving for about 6 months now and just bought my first gear last night. If there is anything I can do to help just let me know. I know there are a lot of questions when you just get started.

Best thing you can do is find a dive buddy you can dive with... Its a lot safer and you learn a lot from them

Welcome, AJ. I'm guessing you're in Milwaukee? If so and you need a buddy sometime I'm in the area.

I am about an hour north of milwaukee but I plan on doing the private training with Deep Blue. Actually I don't have a dive buddy so I would be interested in that but I am a newby. I plan on having my Advance Open Water Certification this summer also.

I am sure you will know when I am certified so if you need a buddy call me then.
